CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HIRUDINEA FAUNA INHABITING MOUNTAIN AREA OF EASTERN

KAZAKHSTAN

Fedorova L.I., Kaygorodova I.A .

Hirudofauna of a mountain area has a number of specific features. In this paper, we present data on taxonomic diversity in mountainous rivers and water reservoirs of the East Kazakhstan region. In the studied mountain rivers and reservoirs 11 species of leeches were identified. All species belong to two orders and three families: Rhynchobdellida (Glossiphoniidae and Piscicolidae) and Arhynchobdellida (Erpobdellidae). The most diverse species composition observed in the reservoirs, while the leeches of flowing waters are not abundant and diverse .

ANALYSIS OF OWLS (STRIGIFORMES) KNOWLEDGE IN THE ALTAI REGION

Fefelova A.Yu., Vazhov S.V .

The Altai region is a habitat of a large number of raptors, including detachment of owls (Strigiformes). This is due to favorable natural conditions. In our work we tried to analyze of owls knowledge in the Altai region. The results allow us to conclude that the owls knowledge in region is in its infancy and does not meet modern requirements. Relatively well studied to date in the region, only three species of owls birds: Eagle Owl, Long-Eared Owl and Ural Owl .
